I am a lifelong educator and writer. I spent 20 years teaching middle and high school English and now support educators in building classrooms where students engage deeply with complex texts and ideas.

Some of my favorite texts to teach include Borderlands/La Frontera, Antigone, In the Time of the Butterflies, and Things Fall Apart.

When I’m not at school, you’ll usually find me beachcombing, rockhounding, hiking, or traveling.
